I had the best time with Madyson & Riley at their Toledo Botanical Garden engagement session! We might have walked away with lifeless fingers and toes but it was the most perfect day for their session.

Madyson & Riley booked their wedding with me and I am so excited to work with them! I photographed her brothers wedding and it warms my heart when I can continue to capture gorgeous memories within the family. These two will be getting married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glandorf, Ohio this July! I have had so many weddings at this gorgeous church, I can’t wait to be back. You can see this church’s amazing steeple from miles away.

She said her and Riley can be a little awkward but that always excites me about a couple! They usually aren’t at all or maybe I thrive on that vibe. Whichever, I love it! They are amazing together and the way Riley looks at Madyson is unforgettable. These two are so blessed to have each other and I am the luckiest photographer to be able to capture their special day for them.

Madyson and Riley met at a wedding a year and a half ago. They went and had ice cream as their first date and this silly girl wanted ice cream after this session too, even if it was 20 degrees. A special part of their love story that stood out to me was when Riley was in the academy he only received 30 minutes on his phone a day and he spent that time talking to Madyson. Let’s all “AWE” together because that is just the cutest!!

I have photographed at this 60 acre garden many times and I have yet to have images that look repeated. My favorite locations are this small meadow below, that looks different through every season and the two line of trees that lead you into the parks “Secret Garden”. There is gorgeous color everywhere even in the dead of winter.
