I photographed this timeless catholic wedding in 2021.

Catholic weddings are very special for me to photograph. Not only does it reflect my own faith, but it also allows me to witness the deep traditions and sacred moments that make these ceremonies so meaningful. While I genuinely appreciate capturing weddings of all faiths, there’s a certain beauty in documenting something so close to my heart.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this day was overflowing with love.  Not just between the bride and groom, but also from their family and friends. The bride’s brothers did a first look with her and their emotions overflowed. I can just imagine how loved she was while growing up. Seeing their bond, along with the love and joy radiating from their loved ones, made the day even more memorable.

However, Mother Nature had her own plans. The cold, biting wind meant that we had to keep outdoor portraits brief. Even so, the couple embraced the moment, laughing through the chill and holding each other even closer. Despite the weather, their love shone brightly, warming every moment we captured.

In the end, this wedding wasn’t just about the vows or the ceremony, it was about the people who surrounded them. It was also about the faith that guided them and the love that carried them through the day. And truly, what more could you ask for?
