As we all know, 2020 has been a wild ride. COVID has changed our lives forever. Not only has it changed how we live but we will forever link memories of 2020 to the year of COVID. And the pandemic really impacted weddings. Half of my couples have rescheduled their weddings, including Dominque and Tony’s. So they changed their plans to have an intimate Naples Florida Wedding.
Dominique & Tony had to make a hard decision, just like a lot of 2020 wedding couples. Will we continue our wedding plans on a much smaller scale or postpone the most anticipated moment of our life? Dom & Tony decided to have an intimate wedding in Naples, Florida with their immediate family members and reception in 2021. I still remember getting the text of the changed plans and I was ecstatic to be invited! I’m always so thankful when a couple takes me along with them to their destination wedding. I love getting out of my element and getting to capture something new!!
Tony & Dominique are very special people. Their connection can’t go unnoticed. It’s almost like they have too much love for each other that it pours out into everyone around them! I love that about them! Another reason I really like them is the way they playfully fight over their best side during photos; because it’s the same side! Their left. (I am 99% sure I got that right). It’s the cutest thing. I was MORE than happy to accommodate taking the same photo twice just so they could switch and get both versions.
You all are going to love them.
We started their wedding day at Dominique’s family vacation home where Dom and her family helped her get ready. This home was so stunning and the perfect touch to making her images look extra bridal because it was all white!
Their home was a photographer’s dream!
Next, we rode together to the Edgewater Beach Hotel and started to take portraits on the beach. They had the most beautiful beach wedding that made the locals, on the beach, stop and watch. It had to have been so awesome to have spent this moment with immediate family but have the entire beach and hotel balcony overlookers cheering for you once you kissed for the first time as husband and wife!!
After their Naples Florida beach wedding, we took bride and groom portraits on the beach as long as we could before the clockwork 3 PM storm rolled into Naples, Florida. This added a nice dramatic look to their images. AND! They even trusted me and took some extra images in the rain!! I love when couples embrace the moment! These images will add to the memory of their wedding day forever.
Then, they had a small dinner where they invited me to join! It was so much fun and I really can’t thank them enough. It will be a memory I won’t ever forget.
They are amazing people and have the biggest hearts!
